About the Team at Vitality Medical Center

Dr. Laila Nayab-Murshidi

Dr. Laila’s mission is to help as many people as possible to have quality of life through good health in the Orange County Area. She specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as regenerative medicine that is evidence based and natural.

While in her pre-dental undergraduate program, she experienced severe foot pain that kept her from walking. She tried everything from medicine to physical therapy, but nothing helped. It was after seeing a chiropractic doctor, that she then realized her calling. With chiropractic care, she was walking in 2 days without crutches and pain. After earning her bachelor’s degree in science from California State University Long Beach, she went on to graduate at the top of her class from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles.

After completing her education, she ran two chiropractic offices in San Diego. Dr. Laila then practiced in a large multidisciplinary practice alongside MD’s, PA’s, and Nurse Practitioners in Orange, CA for four years. Often, she was referred patients who did not respond to medical care and conventional medicine. With this experience, she gained a true understanding of the holistic approach which corrects the root cause of health problems without a procedure or a pill and goes beyond focusing on the area of pain.

In January of 2009, she opened her wellness center, Tustin Bodywork Bistro, where she focused on natural and holistic treatments. She had great success but was limited on what she could do for those who suffered from arthritis due to being overweight/obese. Due to this limitation, she integrated TBB, now called Vitality Medical Center, with medical services and medical professionals who can better aid with this epidemic in America.

The meaning of doctor is teacher, so Dr. Laila is very passionate about educating her patients so that they can take responsibility for their own health. Consequently, she gives lectures regularly to educate her community about their health and various natural options, such as Regenerative Medicine, which reduces pain while repairing and regenerating damaged tissue and joints, therefore avoiding the use of harsh medications. These medications are addictive and lead to the death of one person every 19 minutes in the U.S.

Dr. Laila is married to her husband, David who is very much involved with every aspect of and management of VMC. They have 2 kids, and a dog who keeps them quite busy. Dr. Laila enjoys working out, going to the beach with her family, cooking, and good wine/champagne.
